DAY 1: JOHANNESBURG/MARAKELE NATIONAL PARK
Arrival in Johannesburg, then board a small plane bound for Thabazimbi.
After disembarkation, regular transfer to the lodge. Accommodation for 3 nights, with full board.
Located in a private reserve in South Africa, Marataba Mountain Lodge offers a unique and luxurious safari experience. With an architecture that harmonizes with the natural environment, the suites are decorated with elegance and contemporary comfort, providing an intimate space to relax after a day exploring the African savanna. In addition, the lodge offers personalized experiences, such as guided trails and safari tours, perfect for those looking for a complete immersion in nature.
Depending on the time of arrival at the lodge, the first safari may take place in the late afternoon. An English-speaking guide provides an introduction to African fauna and flora. After enjoying the sunset, it's time to turn on the flashlights and continue the safari looking for animals with nocturnal habits.
Return to the lodge for dinner.
DAY 2 AND 3: MARAKELE
NATIONAL PARK At dawn, departure for safari in a vehicle (4×4). The open vehicle allows for a full wildlife experience, with time not only to see the animals, but also to hear them and smell the African bush. The absence of windows and the elevated position of the vehicle allow for excellent photographic opportunities during the safari. Return to the lodge for breakfast.
Free time to relax or enjoy the lodge.
In the afternoon, departure for the second safari of the day. Return to the lodge for dinner.
DAY 4: MARAKELE NATIONAL PARK/JOHANNESBURG
After the early morning safari, return to the lodge for breakfast and check-out. Private transfer to Thabazimbi Airport for boarding a small flight to Johannesburg.
THIS ITINERARY INCLUDES:
- Domestic airfare in South Africa between Johanesburg/Marakele National Park, in economy class, with small aircraft. Baggage allowance: 1 flexible suitcase, weighing up to 15 kg per person (including hand luggage and camera);
- Accommodation for 3 nights in Marakele National Park, with full board;
- Private transfers between Thabazimbi airport/lodge/Thabazimbi airport;
- Regular safari activities in 4x4 vehicles in animal reserves, with an English-speaking guide;
- National Park Fees;
- Travel kit.
