Canada on tracks: From East to West

DAY 1: TORONTO
Arrival in Toronto and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 1 night.


DAY 2: TORONTO - NIAGARA FALLS - TORONTO Full day shared
tour, with an English-speaking guide, to Niagara Falls.

Passage through the Niagara Peninsula region, known for its agricultural and wine areas. Upon arrival, board a Niagara City Cruises — Voyage to the Falls boat, sailing along the Niagara River and approaching Horseshoe Falls.

Free time to appreciate the waterfalls and photographic records. The program includes lunch and a ride along the Niagara Parkway, a scenic road along the Niagara Gorge, as well as a visit to Niagara-on-the-Lake, the region's historic city. Return to Toronto at the end of the tour.


DAY 3: TORONTO/VIA RAIL/THE CANADIAN
Check-out at the hotel and private transfer to the train station. Board the VIA Rail's Canadian, which crosses Canada from east to west, with views of the Rocky Mountains, lakes, and forests.

Accommodation on board the VIA Rail's Canadian train for 3 nights, with full board.


4TH AND 5TH DAYS : VIA RAIL/THE CANADIAN Travel
days on board the train.

North of the Great Lakes, the trip continues through the Canadian Shield, a region marked by rugged landscapes and some of the oldest rock formations in North America. Rich in minerals and extensive forest areas, the region is dotted with thousands of freshwater lakes.

Early in the evening, the train crosses the border and enters the province of Manitoba, with a brief stop in its capital, Winnipeg.


DAY 6: VIA RAIL/THE CANADIAN - JASPER
In the early hours of the morning, the train crosses the prairie areas of Saskatchewan and Alberta, heading towards the Rocky Mountains. The route continues to Jasper National Park, located in western Alberta and on the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains. The park covers more than 11,000 km² and is crossed by the transcontinental railroad, which passes through the Yellowhead Pass region.

DAY 7: JASPER Free
day in Jasper for activities in and around the city.


DAY 8: JASPER - LAKE LOUISE
Check-out at the hotel. Shared shuttle from Jasper to Lake Louise, taking the Icefields Parkway (Highway 93), a road that connects Jasper and Lake Louise along the Canadian Rockies. The route follows valleys, rivers, lakes, waterfalls and mountain areas.

Admission to the Columbia Icefield Skywalk, a glass walkway suspended over a valley, about 280 meters above the Sunwapta River, in the Columbia Icefield region.

Then, board an Ice Explorer (vehicle specially developed for circulation over glaciers) to access and tour the Athabasca Glacier, a 10,000-year-old ice sheet.

Continuation of the trip to Lake Louise, a lake located in Banff National Park, surrounded by the Canadian Rockies. Its waters receive the melting of glaciers in the region, especially the Victoria Glacier.


DAY 9 : LAKE LOUISE - BANFF Free
morning for independent activities in Lake Louise.

Then, take the roads from Banff National Park to the city of Banff. Accommodation for 2 nights.


DAY 10 : BANFF In
the morning, panoramic tour, with an English-speaking guide, of Banff and its surroundings, highlighting some of the main attractions of Banff National Park.


Passage through Hoodoos, rock formations sculpted over the centuries by erosion, as well as Surprise Corner and Tunnel Mountain Drive, from where you can contemplate the landscapes of the Bow River Valley.


DAY 11: BANFF - KAMLOOPS
After checking out at the hotel. Presentation on behalf of the passenger at the train station to board the Rocky Mountaineer, with SilverLeaf service included, bound for the Pacific coast. The trip takes place during the day, providing views of some of the most striking landscapes in Western Canada.

In the SilverLeaf service, passengers travel in wagons with panoramic windows and remain in recliners, receiving meals directly in their seats. The entire service is performed on a single level of the wagon.

The route leaves the Rocky Mountains via Kicking Horse Pass and continues through the Selkirk Mountains, crossing Rogers Pass.

In the late afternoon, arrival in the arid and rural interior region of British Columbia, with disembarkation in Kamloops.

DAY 12 : KAMLOOPS - VANCOUVER
Check-out at the hotel. Presentation on behalf of the passenger for the day train ride aboard the Rocky Mountaineer bound for Vancouver. Includes SilverLeaf service.

The route crosses rural areas of interior British Columbia, known as “cowboy country”, and follows the Thompson and Fraser rivers. Along the route, the landscape brings together mountain peaks, hills, and areas of vegetation that mark the transition between the interior of the province and the Coastal Mountains, which surround Vancouver.

Upon arrival in Vancouver, transfer from the train station to the hotel. Accommodation for 3 nights.


DAY 13 : VANCOUVER Hop-on hop-off bus
tour of Vancouver, with stops at some of the city's main spots, including historic Gastown, English Bay, Granville Island, and Stanley Park, where the colorful indigenous totems are located. The tour also allows you to discover other highlights of Vancouver, with freedom to embark and disembark along the route.


DAY 14: VANCOUVER - VICTORIA - VANCOUVER Full-day
tour
, with an English-speaking guide, to Victoria, beginning with a journey through the landscapes of the Gulf Islands and a visit to the renowned Butchart Gardens. Then continue to Victoria for a panoramic tour of the city, highlighting its historic residences, gardens and main monuments.

The route includes the University of Victoria and Beacon Hill Park, as well as a visit to the Royal British Columbia Museum, Thunderbird Park and Parliament Buildings. The tour also covers the residential areas of Uplands and Oak Bay, renowned for their homes and gardens.

Return to Vancouver early in the evening.


DAY 15 : VANCOUVER
Check-out at the hotel. Private airport transfer.
