Bear watching at Spirit Bear Lodge

In the coastal fjords of British Columbia, observe the different species of bears in addition to learning about the history of the local people.
Day 1: Vancouver/Bella Bella - SPIriT Bear Lodge
From Vancouver Airport, board a flight to the city of Bella Bella. Upon disembarkation, reception by the local representative and shuttle transfer to the pier for a regular boat transfer of approximately 90 minutes to the lodge. Accommodation for 4 nights, with full board and selected beverages.
Upon arrival at the lodge, lunch and guidance on the activities that will be carried out throughout the stay. Then, head to The Kitasoo/Xai'xais bighouse for an experience related to local culture.
Upon returning to the lodge, before dinner, snacks and drinks will be served.
Day 2 to 4: SPIRIT BEAR LODGE
Breakfast at the lodge.
Available activities organized by the lodge:
- Full-day excursions to strategic areas to observe Grizzli, Black and Kermode bears, known as “spirit bears”.
- Lectures on aspects of the local fauna and flora, the different species of bears and the peoples that live there.
- Observation of estuaries (a transitional aquatic environment between a river and the sea), coves and waterfalls;
- Whale watching;
- Hiking;
- Canoeing;
- Kayak;
- Cultural activities.
DAY 5: SPIRIT BEAR LODGE - BELLA BELLA/VANCOUVER
Breakfast and check-out at the lodge. Regular boat transfer to the city of Bella Bella and then a shuttle transfer to the airport to board a flight to Vancouver.
THIS ITINERARY INCLUDES:
- Domestic airfare between Bella Bella and Vancouver, in economy class;
- 4-night accommodation at Spirit Bear Lodge, with full board;
- Regular ground transfers between airport/pier/airport;
- Regular boat transfers between pier/lodge/pier;
- Regular activities organized by the lodge;
- Specialized guide, in English, during all activities;
- Rainwear (jacket, waterproof pants and rubber boots in standard sizes);
- Conservation fees;
- Travel kit.
THIS ITINERARY DOES NOT INCLUDE:
- International airfare between Brazil and Canada;
- Boarding fees;
- Tourism fees;
- Bank transfer charges related to payment to the foreign supplier;
