Fayoum
DAY 1: Cairo - Fayoum
Breakfast and departure to Fayoum, on a journey of approximately 1h30. On the way, stop to visit the Wadi El-Rayan valley, which has been used as artificial lakes for agricultural drainage.
Then, visit the Wadi Hitan museum, which houses the Whale Valley museum and also of desert landscapes that were once an oceanic region. Wadi El Hitan is one of the largest open-air museums, listed by UNESCO as a “World Heritage Site”, where hundreds of fossils of the first forms of whales can be found.
Visit to Lake Qaroun, considered one of the most important natural lakes of antiquity. It is rich in fish, mammal species, reptiles, and birds. In addition to many archaeological and geological formations. Barbecue-style lunch stop option in a Bedouin tent (not included).
After lunch, stop in the village of Tunis, in the Fayoum oasis, known for its ceramic workshops and small art galleries.
At the end of the tour, arrival and check-in at the hotel. Accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
2nd and 3rd days: Fayoum
Breakfast at the hotel. Free days for independent activities and taking advantage of the hotel's facilities, such as its spa.
DAY 4: Fayoum - Cairo
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Private transfer to Cairo airport.
