Extension to Siwa
DAY 1: CAIRO - SIWA OASIS
Arrival in Cairo and private transfer to Siwa (approximately 8 hours), including a stop at the old World War II Cemetery and the military museum.
Lunch (without drinks) at a local Marsa Matrouh restaurant.
Arrival in Siwa and accommodation for 3 nights, with half board.
In the evening, have dinner at the hotel.
DAY 2: SIWA OASIS
Breakfast and private tour of the Siwa Oasis city, including visits to the Temple of Amoun, the Gebal el Mawta or mountain of the dead is a hill with excavated tombs, and the traditional Cleopatra Bath, a natural pool of hot spring water where, according to legend, the Egyptian queen bathed during her visits to local temples.
Lunch (without drinks) at a local restaurant. Then, visit a viewpoint to observe the sunset. In the
evening, dinner at the hotel.
DAY 3 : SIWA OASIS
After breakfast, visit Shali, the ancient city of Siwa, and the Temple of the Alexander Oracle.
Lunch (without drinks) at a local restaurant.
Departure for a safari in Bir Wahed, at the gateway to the Great Sand Sea, with the opportunity to swim in the region's salt lakes and hot springs.
Finally, an opportunity to observe the sunset in Ein Fetnas, a thermal water peninsula surrounded by date palms.
In the evening, have dinner at the hotel.
DAY 4 : SIWA OASIS
Breakfast and departure to Cairo, stopping in Marsa Matrouh to visit Ageeba Beach, famous for its natural caves and beautiful landscapes, and the cave where the German commander Rommel was drawing up his military plans.
Stop for lunch at a local restaurant and then continue the trip to Cairo.
