Explore the best of Japan in 10 days with a guide in Portuguese! Discover tradition and modernity in Osaka, Kyoto, Takayama, Hakone and Tokyo, temples, serene landscapes, technology and unique hospitality.
DAY 1: OSAKA
Arrival at Kansai or Itami airport and, after immigration and customs procedures, reception by the local representative and regular transfer to the hotel in Osaka with assistance in Spanish.
Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
DAY 2: OSAKA - NARA - KYOTO
After breakfast at the hotel, departure to visit Osaka Castle, with a guide or assistant in Portuguese. Then, travel to Nara to visit the Todai-ji Temple, the largest wooden building in the world and home to the largest Buddha in Japan, and finally, a tour of the Sacred Deer Park.
Stop for lunch at a local restaurant (without drinks) and continuation of the trip to Kyoto. Along the way, visit the Fushimi Inari Shrine (Fushimi Inari Taisha), with its thousands of red torii (gates) that mark the path to the hill where the sanctuary is located.
Upon arrival in Kyoto, accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 3: KYOTO
Breakfast at the hotel. Regular full-day tour, with guide or assistant in Portuguese, to explore the former capital Kyoto. Visit to Nijo Castle (Nijō-jo), Kinkaku-ji Temple (Golden Pavilion) and Heian Shrine (Heian Jingu), home to the largest torii (not including admission to the gardens).
After lunch at a local restaurant (no drinks), afternoon free for independent activities. Return to the hotel on your own.
DAY 4: KYOTO
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day to explore the city or take an optional tour.
Optional activity suggestion (not included):
- Hiroshima tour, which takes place by bullet train (Shinkansen), to visit the Peace Memorial Park, the Atomic Bomb Dome and, in Mijajima, the Itsukushima Shrine.
DAY 5: KYOTO - NAGOYA - MAGOME - TSUMAGO - TAKAYAMA
After breakfast at the hotel and check-out, meeting at the lobby and regular transfer to Kyoto Station for boarding a bullet train (shinkansen) to Nagoya.
Arrival in Nagoya and visit the villages of Magome and Tsumag on the old Nakasendo road (Kiso Valley). Take the road to Takayama to visit the old street of Kami-Sannmomachi. Includes picnic lunch (bento lunch/lunch box) for outings until March 2025.
At the end of the visit, transfer to the hotel and accommodation for 1 night with breakfast. In the evening, dinner of typical Japanese food at the hotel (without drinks).
Note: After checking out at the Kyoto hotel in the morning, the bags (only 1 suitcase weighing 23 kg per person) will be sent to Tokyo. During the trip through Takayama and Hakone, it will be possible to carry only one small suitcase.
DAY 6: TAKAYAMA - SHIRAKAWA-GO - NAGOYA - HAKONE Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
Meeting with a guide or assistant in Portuguese and departure to Shirakawa-go to visit its traditional Gassho-zukuri houses, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
After lunch at a local restaurant (without drinks), transfer to Nagoya Station to board a bullet train to Odawara (without a guide).
Reception by the guide and transfer to the hotel for accommodation for 1 night with breakfast. Dinner at the hotel (without drinks) and return to the hotel.
DAY 7: HAKONE - TOKYO
After breakfast at the hotel and check-out, meeting with the guide or assistant in Portuguese for a tour of Hakone National Park, boarding a mini cruise to visit Lake Ashi and taking a cable car to Mount Komagatake (Hakone Ropeway), due to weather conditions, these visits may be replaced by other activities.
After lunch at a local restaurant (without drinks), departure to Tokyo. Upon arrival in the city, visit the Tokyo Tower.
Transfer to the hotel and accommodation for 3 nights with breakfast.
DAY 8: TOKYO
After breakfast at the hotel, meet the guide or assistant in Portuguese in the lobby for a tour of the city of Tokyo. Visit the Asakusa Kannon Temple (Sensō-ji), the oldest in Tokyo, with the Nakamise shopping street (Nakamise-dori), visit the Meiji Shrine (Meiji Jingu) and the Ginza neighborhood.
Lunch at a local restaurant (no drinks) and free afternoon to explore the city. Return to the hotel on your own.
DAY 9: TOKYO
Breakfast at the hotel and free day for independent activities.
Optional activity suggestion (not included):
- Visit the city of Nikko, known worldwide for the Toshogu Shrine with the most luxurious decoration in all of Japan. In 1999, this group of temples and shrines was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in Nikko and (for exits until March 2025) the area surrounding Lake Chuzenji, known for its indigo blue waters, are particularly known for their autumn foliage; in addition to the “Kegon Falls”, with its 100 meters high, which is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the country.
DAY 10: TOKYO
After breakfast at the hotel and check-out, regular transfer to Narita or Haneda International Airport.

Notes:
- Transfer between airport and hotel: it can be done by bus and taxi, depending on the circumstances mentioned in the itinerary. In some cases, it will only be by taxi, as described in the itinerary.
- Minimum number of travelers for bus tours: the minimum is 10 people to take the tours on a private group bus. If there is no minimum number of travelers, the tours will be carried out by public transport with a guide in Spanish.
- For outings with 15 or more passengers in the same group: a radio guide system will be used during visits to maintain social distance and listen carefully to the guide's explanations.

- Group outings follow an established schedule. Voluntary changes by the traveler to the itinerary or to accommodations are not allowed. The local operator reserves the right to make modifications to better accommodate the group's experience.
- The accommodations indicated in the tables above are in twin rooms. Accommodation in a double double room is on request and subject to availability at the hotels.
- Some accommodations may limit access to the onsen for people with tattoos, due to cultural reasons. Consult us, conditions may vary depending on the location.
