DAY 1: SÃO LUÍS
Upon arrival at São Luís Airport, reception and transfer to the hotel. Capital of Maranhão, the city is located between the bays of São Marcos and São José de Ribamar, preserving a rich historical and cultural heritage. The remainder of the day is at leisure for independent activities.
In the evening, departure to a traditional city festival ("arraial"), offering the opportunity to watch cultural performances such as Bumba Meu Boi, experience the São João do Maranhão celebrations, and taste regional culinary specialties. At the end of the tour, return to the hotel.

Day 2: SÃO LUÍS - SANTO AMARO - STARGAZING
In the morning, departure to Santo Amaro via overland transfer (238 km, approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes on paved roads). Stop for snacks (not included) in the town of Morros or Icatu. Arrival and check-in.
In the afternoon, departure toward the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park (PNLM). Departure from the lodge is scheduled for later in the day to reach the lagoons under milder sunlight. A short walk leads to the selected viewpoint. Following the sunset, a charcuterie board featuring local products will be served overlooking the dunes and lagoons.
Around 19:00, stargazing and viewing of celestial structures are visible to the naked eye. Return to Santo Amaro at 19:30.

Day 3: SANTO AMARO / PONTA VERDE (LAGOA DO REFLEXO)
Morning departure from the lodge in Santo Amaro toward the Ponta Verde settlement. A substantial portion of the trail crosses the sand dunes, given Santo Amaro's immediate proximity to the access point of the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park (PNLM).
The route continues through native vegetation until reaching Ponta Verde, an area characterized by fruit trees and evergreen flora. A stop is made to place lunch orders (not included), followed by an excursion to Lagoa do Reflexo (Reflection Lagoon) with free time for swimming and photography.
Return for lunch. In the afternoon, the excursion proceeds with further stops for swimming along the Ponta Verde Circuit lagoons. Following the sunset, return to Santo Amaro with a stop to taste local ice cream at the central square. Evening at leisure.
Day 4: SANTO AMARO / BARREIRINHAS / VASSOURAS / MANDACARU / FLOCKING OF THE SCARLET IBIS / ATINS
In the morning, overland transfer from the hotel in Santo Amaro to Caetés Port (1 hour and 30 minutes on paved road). From there, boat transfer along the Preguiças River toward the coastal village of Atins, passing native palm trees and mangroves along the riverbanks.
The first stop takes place in Vassouras (Pequenos Lençóis Environmental Protection Area). Fresh coconut water is available, alongside opportunities to observe capuchin monkeys inhabiting the mangroves adjacent to the freshwater beach (feeding the animals is strictly prohibited). Lunch is served on-site (not included); Dona Graça restaurant features regional grilled fish.
Mid-afternoon, navigation continues along the river, passing the fishing villages of Espadarte, Morro do Boi, and Moitas, bordered by the dunes of Pequenos Lençóis, until reaching the village of Mandacaru to visit its lighthouse. Next, the speedboat proceeds to the Bar da Hora Community, where an afternoon coffee is served while awaiting the flocking of the scarlet ibises (Guarás).
The scarlet ibis is recognized for its carmine-red plumage in adulthood, derived from carotenoid pigments found in the small crabs that form its diet. The birds forage in shallow waters with submerged beaks, seeking fiddler crabs and other local crustaceans.
Following the flight of the birds and the sunset, return to Atins. Around 18:00, arrival at the port of Atins, where a vehicle will transfer guests to the lodge. Evening at leisure.

Day 5: ATINS / CANTO DO ATINS + SUNSET PICNIC
Morning at leisure to enjoy Atins Beach.
In the afternoon, at 15:00, departure in a 4x4 vehicle to explore the Canto do Atins Lagoon Circuit, selecting the best lagoons according to seasonal water levels, with stops for swimming and photography.
Between April and early June, this tour also includes a visit to the Bonzinho Waterfall. During sunset, a picnic is served on-site. Return to Atins after sunset. Evening at leisure.
Day 6: ATINS / PARNAÍBA DELTA + SCARLET IBIS FLOCKING / BARRA GRANDE
Morning at leisure. Early in the afternoon, transfer from the lodge to the Port of Atins and boat crossing to the Caburé peninsula.
Boarding in a 4x4 vehicle toward Tutóia, driving along Caburé Beach to Paulino Neves, and continuing via paved road to Tutóia (approximate duration: 2 hours).
Boarding a speedboat at the Municipal Port of Tutóia for an excursion through the Parnaíba Delta. The delta comprises five primary branches, two of which are visited during the itinerary. Short stops are scheduled for photography and wildlife observation across the channels, including demonstrations of traditional crab catching.
The route passes by Igoronhon Island (a former salt flat) and stops at Morro do Meio on Canárias Island for swimming and dune walks. The journey continues along the channels to the roosting grounds of the scarlet ibises to witness the evening flocking.
After the flight, arrival at Porto dos Tatus, where a vehicle will be waiting for the overland transfer to Barra Grande (1-hour drive on paved road). Evening at leisure.

Day 7: BARRA GRANDE
Day at leisure for independent activities.
Day 8: BARRA GRANDE / CAMOCIM / TATAJUBA / JERICOACOARA
Early in the morning, departure in a 4x4 vehicle toward Jericoacoara, covering 90 km of paved road to the ferry crossing at the mouth of the Coreaú River in Camocim. Crossing over to the dunes and carnauba palm areas of Ilha do Amor. The itinerary continues to Tatajuba, known for freshwater hammocks and regional seafood menus at local stalls.
Following lunch (not included), a second ferry crossing takes place at Guriú Beach, characterized by its mangrove estuary. A stop is made for an optional seahorse tour. The journey concludes upon arrival in Jericoacoara in time for the sunset at the beach.
Evening at leisure to explore the village, dining venues, and local shops.

Day 9: JERICOACOARA / EAST ROUTE + BARRINHA (SUNSET OVER THE DUNES)
In the morning, buggy excursion toward the base of Pedra Furada for a walk to the landmark (30 minutes each way).
The route continues along the edge of Jericoacoara National Park to Lagoa do Paraíso, followed by Lagoa Azul, with stops for swimming and photography.
Following lunch (not included), the itinerary proceeds to Buraco Azul and onwards to the sand dunes of Barrinha to view the sunset. Return via Preá Beach, concluding the excursion in the village of Jericoacoara.
Day 10: JERICOACOARA / FORTALEZA ON ROAD
Following breakfast, overland transfer from Jericoacoara to Fortaleza at a scheduled time (approximate duration: 4 hours).
