The Wonders of Nepal

DAY 1: KATHMANDU
Arrival in Kathmandu and reception with traditional welcome, followed by private transfer to the hotel, with assistance in Spanish.

Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.

Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and one of the oldest cities in the world. Its historic part, with narrow streets and pagoda-style temples, is located on Durbar Square.


DAY 2: KATHMANDU
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, full-day tour with a guide in Spanish to the city of Patan, located on the south bank of the Bagmati River, renowned for its collection of temples and buildings in wood, stone and metal.

In the afternoon, visit Kathmandu's Durbar Square and the Swayambhunath Stupa, about 2,000 years old, situated on a hilltop southwest of the city. The route takes you along Freak Street, a traditional hippie hangout, to the Temple of Kumari, the living goddess.


DAY 3: KATHMANDU/BHARATPUR - CHITWAN
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer to Kathmandu airport for boarding a flight to Bharatpur.

Arrival, transfer to the hotel (about 1 hour). Accommodation for 2 nights, with full board.

Chitwan National Park is one of the largest forest areas in Asia, recognized as a Natural World Heritage Site by UNESCO, with species such as the one-horned rhinoceros, sloth bears, leopards, crocodiles, more than 350 bird species and the Bengal tiger.

After lunch (without drinks), jungle activities with a naturalist in English, according to the lodge's schedule.


DAY 4: CHITWAN
Breakfast at the hotel.

Full day of activities in the jungle of Chitwan National Park, with a naturalist in English, according to the resort's schedule, which may include a hike to observe deer, rhinoceroses and sloths, a jeep safari through the park and a canoe ride along the Rapti River, with the possibility of spotting the Marsh Mugger and Gharial crocodile species.

In the evening, Tharu cultural dance performance.


DAY 5: CHITWAN - BHARATPUR/POKHARA
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer to Bharatpur airport for boarding a flight to Pokhara.

Arrival, transfer to the hotel and accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.

Half-day tour with an English-speaking guide to Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, Tibetan village, and Tal Barahi Temple, with boat ride across Fewa Lake.


DAY 6: POKHARA
Early morning, departure with an English-speaking guide to Sarangkot, about 5 kilometers from the lake shore and 1.592 meters above sea level, to observe the sunrise over the snowy peaks (subject to weather conditions).

Return to the hotel for breakfast. Along the way, visit the Bindabasini Temple, a white pagoda-style Hindu building erected about 900 meters above sea level next to the Annapurna and Machhapuchhare chains, and the Peace Pagoda, a Buddhist stupa located on the top of a hill on the southern shore of Lake Phewa.

Free afternoon for independent activities.


DAY 7: POKHARA/KATHMANDU - NAGARKOT
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer to Pokhara airport for boarding a flight to Kathmandu.

Upon arrival, departure by land to Nagarkot (about 1 hour), stopping in Bhaktapur, a medieval city preserved by the Newar people, who maintain traditions and crafts in wood and stone, such as the Palace of 55 Windows, the Nyatapola Temple, the Kashi Biswanath Temple and the Dattatreya Temple. Also visit Potters' Square, where local artisans produce ceramics using traditional techniques.

Continue to the hotel in Nagarkot, a town located on the northern edge of the Kathmandu Valley, known for its views of the Himalayas, subject to weather conditions. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.


DAY 8: NAGARKOT - KATHMANDU
At sunrise, short walk to observe the Himalayas, subject to weather conditions.

Return to the hotel for breakfast and check out.

Departure by land with a guide in Spanish to the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the main Hindu temples dedicated to Shiva, located on the banks of the Bagmati River (access to the interior of the temple is restricted to Hindus).

Visit the Boudhanath Stupa, with an 82-meter-diameter base, the largest Buddhist stupa in the world. At the end of the tour, private transfer to Kathmandu airport.
