Honeymoon in Oman: 8 romantic days from historic Muscat to the stunning Wahiba desert.
DAY 1: MUSCAT
Arrival at Muscat airport. Reception by the local representative and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 2: MUSCAT
After breakfast at the hotel, half-day tour, with an English-speaking guide, to the main tourist attractions of Muscat.
Expected places to visit:
- Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque: an architectural masterpiece that is the country's pride. It houses the second largest woven carpet and the largest chandeliers in the world, decorated with hundreds of Swarovski crystals.
- Bait Al Zubair Museum Museum: one of the most well-known cultural places in the country, it houses one of the most extensive private collections of Omani artifacts, including traditional costumes, jewelry, weapons, household utensils, and other historical artifacts.
- Al Alam Palace (Sultan's Palace): official ceremonial palace of the Sultan of Oman. Mushroom-shaped columns and a gold and blue façade make it one of the most attractive tourist spots in Muscat.
- Jalali & Mirani Forts: strategically positioned on rocky hills on either side of Muscat Bay.
Free afternoon for independent activities.
DAY 3: MUSCAT - NIZWA - JABAL AL AKDAR
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Journey of about 1 hour and 30 minutes to Nizwa. Nizwa is surrounded by lush palm oases. The city offers a great mix of history and culture, since it was once the capital of Oman and they maintain their authenticity.
Visit the Nizwa Fort, built in the 17th century and the souk, considered one of the largest and most beautiful in the Arab world.
Continuation of the trip on a route from approximately to Jabal Al Akhdar, which translates as “The Green Mountain” in Arabic, is one of the most picturesque and exclusive regions of Oman and is located in the Al Hajar mountain range.
Accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 4: JABAL AL AKDAR
Breakfast at the hotel and take about a 40-minute walk to the villages of Jabal Akhdar. Opportunity to learn about local customs and visit mosques, houses, and a medicinal distillery.
Return to the hotel and free time for independent activities.
DAY 5: JABAL AL AKDAR - WADI BANI HABIB - JABAL AL AKDAR
After breakfast, departure for a half-day visit, with an English-speaking guide, to Wadi Bani Habib, a village that was once home to about 700 inhabitants. This currently abandoned historic village is a testament to the traditional Omani way of life, where houses stand the test of time, standing firmly on the steep mountain slopes.
Return to the hotel and free time for independent activities.
DAY 6: JABAL AL AKDAR - WAHIBA
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Travel of about 2 hours and 30 minutes to the Wahiba desert camp, secluded 11 km inside the vast desert of Oman.
Along the way, contemplation of the ocher sand desert and the constantly changing landscapes. A unique experience, where the silence of the desert and the immensity of the sand give a sense of serenity and deep contemplation.
Arrival and accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast and dinner.
Free time for independent activities.
Suggested optional activities (not included):
- Camel ride;
- Visit to a Bedouin house.
DAY 7: WAHIBA - WADI HAwer - MUSCAT
After breakfast and check-out, a trip of about 1 hour to Wadi Hawer, which stands out for its serenity and natural landscapes.
Time for hiking on the trails and diving in the natural pools.
Then drive to Muscat and accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
DAY 8: MUSCAT
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, private transfer to the airport.

- Accommodation for 3 nights in Jabal Al Akdar, with breakfast;
- Accommodation for 1 night in Wahiba, with half board;
