Muscat, Wahiba
Discover the crystal clear waters of Oman's natural pools and try camping in the Wahiba desert on this 6-day itinerary.
DAY 1: MUSCAT
Arrival, reception by the local representative and private transfer to the hotel in approximately 30 minutes.
Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 2: MUSCAT Free
day for independent activities.

- Walk to Qurum Coniche, a beach region in the heart of Muscat considered the busiest in Muscat, close to shopping malls and restaurants.
DAY 3: MUSCAT - BIMMAH SINKHOLE - WADI SHAAB - WAHIBA
After breakfast at the hotel, a trip of about 1 hour and 30 minutes (128 km) to Bimmah Sinkhol, for a tour with an English-speaking guide.
The Bimmah Sinkhole, also known as Hawiyyat Najm, is a water-filled depression in the limestone of the eastern province of Muscat.
Time to enjoy a swim in the crystal clear waters of this natural pool.
Then, a trip of about 20 minutes (32 km) to Wadi Shaab, located in the heart of a dry and arid landscape, for observation of the oasis, including a boat ride and a walk of approximately 1 hour.
Finally, time for a dip in one of the natural pools, sunbathing on the nearby rocks that surround the river, and picnic-style lunch.
In the afternoon, drive to Bidiyah for about 2 hours (155 km) to the Wahiba desert camp. Along the way, contemplation of the ocher sand desert and the constantly changing landscapes. Before nightfall, it includes a stop to enjoy the sunset.
Accommodation for 1 night, with half board.
DAY 4: WAHIBA - WADI BANI KHALED - SUR - MUSCAT
Early in the morning, possibility to watch the sunrise over the sand dunes and breakfast at the camp.
Then travel about 1 hour (80km) to Wadi Bani Khaled, on an enchanting road, passing through colorful rock formations before reaching the oasis located in the Hajar Mountains. As it offers easy access to deep natural pools, it is a place much visited by local residents who come to spend the weekend.
Then, a trip of approximately 2 hours (125 km) to Sur to learn about the history of the city and the daily life of Omani fishermen. The city played an important role in the country's maritime commercial activities and is one of the oldest ports in Oman.
In the afternoon, return to Muscat on a journey of about 2 hours (200 km). Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 5: MUSCAT Free
day for independent activities.
Optional activity suggestion (not included):
- In the afternoon, boat ride on a traditional wooden boat, Dhow Cruise, to enjoy the sunset over the Gulf Sea.
DAY 6: MUSCAT
After breakfast at the hotel and check-out, private transfer to the airport.
