Enjoy the best that South Africa has to offer: the sophistication of Cape Town, the unforgettable safaris in the Kruger Park region, and the scenic landscapes on the Ravos Rail route.
DAY 1: KRUGER National Park region
Arrival at Kruger airport and regular transfer to the lodge. Accommodation for 2 nights, with full board.
DAY 2: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK REGION
The first safari starts around 6 in the morning while rangers provide information about the animals. Stop to enjoy the sunrise. Return to the lodge around 9am for breakfast.
Rest of the morning and early afternoon free to enjoy the pool, optional activities, or simply relax. Around 16:00, departure for the safari until nightfall. Animals not yet seen on the previous safari will be tracked.
DAY 3: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK REGION/CAPE TOWN
Breakfast and check-out. Regular transfer to Kruger airport and departure to Cape Town. Upon arrival, private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 4 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 4: CAPE TOWN
After breakfast at the hotel, private tour of the city of Cape Town. Visit Table Mountain (subject to weather conditions on the day), with views of Mother City and Atlantic Seabord. Walk through Company Gardens, a natural environment that allows you to get in touch with life in Cape Town. At the exit of Wale Street, you can find a monument in honor of Desmond Tutu, installed next to the equally historic St. George's Cathedral, a landmark of South Africa's cultural wealth.
Note: Table Mountain will be closed for maintenance between 28/07/2025 and 03/08/2025.
DAY 5: CAPE TOWN
Breakfast at the hotel and full-day tour of Cape Point and Peninsula. Visit Hout Bay, where you can observe the beaches and mountain views. Coastal route through Chapman's Peak to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point, known as the meeting point between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. Visit Simon's Town, a historic village with distinctive architecture, and Boulders Beach and Boulder Penguin Colony, where penguin colonies are located.
Stop for lunch (not included), followed by a visit to the Kirstenbosch and Cape Flora National Botanical Gardens, which bring together the diversity of South African biomes, contrasting with the view of Table Mountain.
DAY 6: CAPE TOWN Free
day for independent activities or enjoying the hotel.
DAY 7: CAPE TOWN - ROVOS RAIL
After breakfast, private transfer to the station to board the Ravos Rail train. A unique trip, with the feeling of being on a traditional train with luxury services. The itinerary perfectly illustrates South Africa as a world in a country, traveling through the gold-rich Highveld pastures, to the barrenness of the Great Karoo, the spectacular mountain ranges and the scenic wine lands of the Cape.
Accommodation for 3 nights, with All inclusive.
Note: considering the train experience and theme, full formal or social attire is recommended during dinners, according to the dress code.
DAY 8: ROVOS RAIL
Breakfast on board. Stop in the village of Matjiesfonten to visit the museum and historical exhibition. Return to the train and lunch on board.
DAY 9: ROVOS RAIL
Breakfast on board. Stop in the city of Kimberley, known for the discovery of diamonds, and visit the Kimberley's Diamond Mine Museum and the Big Hole. Return to the train and lunch on board.
In the afternoon, tea service in the lobby and observation wagons.
DAY 10: ROVOS RAIL - Pretoria
After breakfast and check-out, disembark in Pretoria. Private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
DAY 11: PRETORIA - JOHANNESBURG
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer to Johannesburg airport.
