Manaus, the capital of the Amazon, is considered the main gateway to the largest rainforest in the world. Its setting is marked by the encounter of large rivers and the preserved jungle, forming landscapes of great impact.
Among its main attractions is the Encontro das Águas, a natural phenomenon in which the Negro and Solimões rivers run parallel without mixing. The destination also preserves important cultural icons, such as the Teatro Amazonas, a legacy of the rubber cycle, in addition to traditional markets that reflect local diversity.
In Manaus, it is possible to experience the Amazon in its essence: abundant fauna, forest trails, boat trips, visits to riverside communities, and lodging in jungle hotels that offer immersive experiences. It is a complete destination, which integrates adventure, knowledge and direct contact with nature.

Finally, visit the Rio Negro Palace, a former government residence, which presents an outstanding historical collection and architecture, illustrating political and social aspects of the region.
After the historic tour, stop at the Science Forest, an outdoor area that brings together examples of Amazonian fauna and flora, providing direct contact with local biodiversity. Closing the tour, visit the CIGS.
