DAY 1: Cusco - Sacred Valley
Arrival at Cusco airport and regular transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 4 nights on an all-inclusive basis (all meals, snacks, and selected beverages), in addition to explorations.
Located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, in Peru, Explora Valle Sagrado offers accommodations and experiences for different types of trips, integrating impressive landscapes and cultural heritage. The team of local experts leads visits to the Maras saltworks, to the agricultural terraces of Moray, to traditional villages such as Pisac and Chinchero, and to Inca sites in Ollantaytambo and Pisaq. After a day of exploring, the hotel offers rooms with views of the Sacred Valley and cuisine prepared with local ingredients, combining adventure, culture and comfort.
DAY 2 to 4: SACRED VALLEY Free
days to take advantage of the half-day or full-day excursions organized and offered by the hotel. These activities have more than 40 exploration options, including hikes, bike tours and land excursions, conducted by certified, bilingual guides and in groups of up to 8 travelers, customizable according to the travelers' interests and pace.
Some of the activities available:
- Guided tour of the Maras salt flats and the circular terraces of Moray, well-preserved historic and agricultural sites
- Guided tour of the villages of Pisac and Chinchero, including the ruins of Pisac and the handicraft market, which reveal the Inca worldview and culture in the Sacred Valley;
- Guided tour of the Inca archaeological sites in Ollantaytambo, including the living village, the cobblestone streets, the ceremonial center, the Royal Building and the terraces, exemplifying the Inca architecture and its historical importance.
- Guided tour of the religious path, with stops at the churches of Canicunca, Huaro and Andahuaylillas, including the choir and the museum, followed by lunch in a wetland with native birds, highlighting the Spanish influence, religious syncretism, and Inca architecture along the Urubamba River;
- Guided tour of the most fertile region of the Sacred Valley, with a trip to the Quinsacocha lagoon, a walk through the Quechua community of Chahuaytire to observe rock paintings and learn ancient weaving techniques, ending at the archaeological site of Pisac with its suspended agricultural terraces.
- Guided bike tour from the top of the slopes of the Sacred Valley, descending along a trail in good condition, with views of the mountains and the Urubamba River. The route runs along the river, among cornfields, orchards and densely organized Inca terraces, evidencing the Inca architecture and the region's main archaeological landmarks.

Full-day exploration of the historic sanctuary of Machu Picchu, an icon of the Inca civilization and one of the wonders of the world. Held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, not including the walk to Puerta del Sol (Inti Punku). The itinerary begins at the hotel, followed by a transfer to the Ollantaytambo train station (about 45 min), train ride to Aguas Calientes and bus to Machu Picchu. It takes about three hours to explore the site. Return to the hotel after the tour, with dinner included. A snack will be provided for lunch. The exploration combines services from Explora and third parties, and it is necessary to confirm the reservation at least 50 days in advance.
DAY 5: Sacred Valley - Cusco
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, transfer to Cusco airport.
Remarks:
- Guests who do not arrive at the hotel from the airport have a pick-up service at selected hotels in Cusco and the Sacred Valley, scheduled for 11:00am.
- On the day of check-out, there is a shuttle service to the airport and hotels in Cusco, in addition to other hotels in the Sacred Valley:
- Departure transfer: Cusco airport (CUZ): transfer according to travelers' flight schedules (lunch not included).
- Departure transfer: hotels in Cusco and Sacred Valley: departures at 10:00am, 12:30pm and 3:00pm. (lunch not included).
