Classic Peru with Adventures

DAY 1: LIMA
Arrival in Lima and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.


DAY 2: LIMA
Breakfast at the hotel and private half-day tour with a guide in Spanish to the main historical and cultural sights of Lima.

Visit to the Santo Domingo Convent, a religious and architectural complex linked to the presence of the Dominican Order in the city.

Then, stop at La Tapada, a coffee shop and pastry shop located in the Historic Center of Lima, for a drink. The space presents a proposal inspired by the flavors and traditions of ancient Lima.

Finally, visit the Larco Museum, located in an 18th century mansion. The museum brings together an archaeological collection composed of pieces from different pre-Columbian cultures, providing knowledge of aspects of the history and cultural development of ancient Peru.

Return to the hotel and free afternoon for independent activities.


DAY 3: LIMA/CUSCO - SACRED VALLEY
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer to Jorge Chávez International Airport to board a flight (not included) to Cusco.

Upon arrival at Cusco airport, private transfer to Sacred Valley. On the way, stop in Pisac to discover local products, handicrafts and cultural expressions typical of the region.

Then, visit the archaeological site of Pisac, which houses old buildings and agricultural terraces integrated into the Andean landscape.

Free time for lunch (without drinks) at the Huayoccari restaurant.

Arrival in the Sacred Valley and accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.


DAY 4: SACRED VALLEY
After breakfast at the hotel, a private full-day tour of the Sacred Valley, with a guide in Spanish.

Four-bike ride in the Maras region, known for its salt evaporation lagoons, followed by a visit to the archaeological site of Moray, known for its impressive concentric circular terraces, which reveal the agricultural knowledge developed by the Incas and offers panoramic views of the Sacred Valley.

Free time for picnic-style lunch on the banks of the Sacred River.

In the afternoon, walk through the Andenes de Yucay, with the opportunity to learn about local history and culture.

Return to the hotel.


DAY 5: SACRED VALLEY
Breakfast at the hotel and for an experience of exploring nature and Andean landscapes, accompanied by llama animals that played a fundamental role in the history and culture of the Andes.

Free time for a special picnic with Huatia Andina, a traditional ancient cooking technique that is part of the rich gastronomic heritage of the Andes.

Return to the hotel and free time for independent activities.


DAY 6: SACRED VALLEY - MACHU PICCHU - AGUAS CALIENTES
Early in the morning, transfer by private bus to the Cusco train station.

Take the train to the town of Chachabamba and, upon arrival, start a walk of approximately 3 hours to the archaeological complex of Wiñayhuayna, with the possibility of observing various varieties of orchids along the way.

Free time for lunch (without drinks) at a local restaurant.

Continue the walk to Inti Punku, known as the “Sun Gate”, from where you have a panoramic view of Machu Picchu. Finally, drop off by private bus to Aguas Calientes and free afternoon for independent activities. Accommodation for 1 night, with half board.

In the evening, dinner (without drinks) at the hotel.


DAY 7: AGUAS CALIENTES - CUSCO
Breakfast at the hotel and board a shared bus to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, where a guided tour of its sectors and historic buildings will take place, with the possibility of climbing the Huayna Picchu mountain (subject to availability).

Return by private bus to Aguas Calientes and board the train back to Cusco. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.


DAY 8: Cusco
Breakfast at the hotel and private half-day walking tour of the San Blas neighborhood, known for its narrow streets, atelian atelian atmosphere. Along the way, visit artistic spaces, such as Atelier Mendívil and HJK Studio.

Visit to the Xapiri Ground, a space dedicated to the appreciation of Amazonian art, with free time for coffee. Then, visit the Stone of the 12 Angles, an important example of Inca architecture in the historic center.

Finally, return to the hotel and free afternoon for independent activities.


DAY 9: Cusco
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, private transfer to Cusco airport to board the flight (not included) to Lima.
