From Lisbon to Porto by Car

Travel Package to explore the charming regions of Portugal by car, at your own pace, from Lisbon to Porto.
Day 1: Lisbon - Queluz (20 km)
Arrival in Lisbon, pick-up by car at the rental office and drive to Queluz. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Day 2: Queluz - Sintra - Estoril - Queluz (50 KM)
After breakfast, drive to Sintra to discover the charms of history. Opportunity to explore the historic center and sample local cuisine such as pillows (puff pastry filled with egg and almond cream) and queijadas (pasta filled with fresh cheese).
Then drive to the great Cabo da Roca cliff, the westernmost point in the country and along the coast of Cascais to enjoy the marine landscape.
Continue to Estoril, a region that served as a summer residence for Portuguese royalty. It is still possible to see mansions, mansions and resorts.
Return to the hotel in Queluz.
Day 3: Queluz - Évora - Estremoz - Castelo de Vide - Marvão (275 km)
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, drive to Évora, located in the middle of the beautiful Alentejo plains. Opportunity to visit the Roman Temple Évora and the mysterious Chapel of Bones, with its pillars and walls covered with bones, from the 17th century. In the
afternoon, drive to Estremoz, rich in cultural heritage, where the Estremoz Castle with its medieval walls and the Castelo de Vide, with its sinuous streets and white houses, stand out. It is a region famous for its natural riches.
Then travel to Marvão, a town with almost 500 inhabitants, in the middle of the Porque Natural da Serra de São Mamede and accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
Day 4: MARVÃO - Tomar - Coimbra - Viseu (301 km)
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Travel to Tomar, the city of the Knights Templar with its Convent of Christ. Drive to Coimbra to explore the city and discover the oldest part of the city, with narrow streets that lead to the top of the hill.
Finally, travel to Viseu, a historic city with many traditions, good cuisine and events for all ages. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
Day 5: Viseu - Lamego - Peso da Régua - Amarante - Amares (225 km)
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, departure to Lamego, known as the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Remedies.
Then, travel along Peso da Régua and the city of Amarante, located on the banks of the Tâmega River, a chance to visit the São Gonçalo Bridge, the Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso Municipal Museum and the Aurora River Beach.
Drive to Amares and accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 6: AMARES - Braga - Viana do Castelo - Ponte de Lima - Amares (146 km)
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Braga, one of the oldest Christian cities in the world, with a vast religious heritage, as well as the sanctuaries that make up the triangle of faith: the Cathedral and the Sanctuaries of Bom Jesus and Sameiro.
Continue to Viana do Castelo, on the coast of Portugal, famous for its typical colorful costumes. It is possible to visit the Sanctuary of Santa Luiza, which is located at the top of the hill, with a beautiful panoramic view of the region.
Finally, we suggest a stop at Ponte de Lima, where the famous green wine is produced.
Return to the hotel in Amares.
DAY 7: AMARES - Guimarães - Porto
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, departure to Guimarães, known as the birthplace of Portugal, as it was the birthplace of Dom Afonso Henriques, the first king of Portugal. Opportunity to visit the Sacred Hill, the Palace of the Dukes of Bragança and walk in Largo da Oliveira.
Then drive to Porto, renowned for its high quality wine and its natural beauty. We suggest taking a boat ride on the Douro River, symbol of the city, to enjoy the view from a new perspective.
Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
DAY 8: PORTO
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Drive to the airport to return the car.
