Discover the history, cuisine, and landscapes of Lisbon and Évora on this 7-day tour of Portugal.
DAY 1: Lisbon
Arrival at Lisbon airport, meeting with local representative and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 2: Lisbon
Breakfast at the hotel and free morning for independent activities.
In the afternoon, meet in the city center with an expert gastronomy guide to explore Alfama, the oldest region in Lisbon.
Continue to the Old City to visit some of its traditional shops. Opportunity to sample local candies, snacks, and wines while learning about the region's rich culture.
DAY 3: LISBON - Évora
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Journey of about 1 and a half hours to Évora, in the Alentejo region. Accommodation for 4 nights, with breakfast.
In the afternoon, private half-day city tour. Visit the Cathedral of Évora, an architectural work dating from the 12th century, and the Chapel of Bones, a chapel adorned with thousands of human bones, a unique artisanal work that transforms death into art.
Finally, visit the ancient Temple of Diana, one of the best preserved Roman temples in the Iberian Peninsula, dedicated to the Roman goddess of the hunt.
DAY 4: Évora - Portalegre - Castelo de Vide - Marvão - Évora
After breakfast at the hotel, private full-day tour with driver-guide in Portalegre, a city renowned for its medieval architecture. Visit the Portalegre Castle and tour its historic center.
Continue to Castelo de Vide and walk through its picturesque streets, walls and the Jewish Quarter, a labyrinth of narrow streets that tell the story of the city's past.
Finally, tour the city of Marvão, a village located on top of a hill, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Visit the famous Marvão Castle and return to the hotel in Évora.
DAY 5: Évora - Moura - Alqueva - Reguengos de Monsaraz - Évora
After breakfast at the hotel, private full-day tour with driver-guide in the city of Moura, known for its rich cultural heritage and Moorish influences. Visit the famous Moura Castle and the city center.
Continue to Alqueva, where the largest artificial lake in Europe is located, and boat ride. Stop for lunch (not included).
Then, visit the city of Reguengos de Monsaraz, a city with winding streets and traditional white-painted houses. Explore the iconic Monsaraz Castle, with panoramic views of the Alentejo plains.
DAY 6: Évora
Breakfast at the hotel and free day for independent activities.
DAY 7: Évora - Lisbon
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer to Lisbon airport.
