Day 1: PONTA DELGADA
Arrival in the Azores, on São Miguel Island, and private transfer to the hotel in Ponta Delgada. Accommodation for 4 nights, with breakfast.
Ponta Delgada is a modern city that preserves its original character, with its narrow streets filled with traditional commerce, markets and shops.
In the evening, dine at a local restaurant to sample local cuisine.
day 2: PONTA DELGADA - SEVEN CITIES - FURNAS - PONTA DELGADA
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Lagoa das Sete Cidades with its famous viewpoints: the Miradouro da Vista do Rei and the Miradouro da Lomba do Vasco.
Then, departure to the Furnas region and lunch at a local restaurant (without drinks), to enjoy a traditional Furnas stew, a meal prepared in sealed pots using the island's hot springs known as fumaroles.
After lunch, free time to visit Terra Nostra Park, with botanical garden and thermal pool, or Poças da Dona Beija (natural hot springs).
Return to the hotel.
Note: It is recommended to bring a bathing suit to enjoy the thermal baths.
Day 3: PONTA DELGADA
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a full-day private tour of the northeast and east of the island. Visit the Ribeira dos Caldeirões Natural Park, known for its mills and waterfalls.
Then continue to the viewpoints of Ponta do Sossego and Ponta da Madrugada.
Return to the hotel.
Day 4: PONTA DELGADA - LAGOA DO FOGO - PONTA DELGADA
After breakfast at the hotel, visit Lagoa do Fogo, one of the most beautiful and untouched lagoons in the Azores, located in a volcanic crater.
In the afternoon, boat trip to watch whales and dolphins, weather permitting.
Note: If it is not possible to take the boat trip, due to weather conditions, the tour will be replaced by a visit to the Gorreana or Porto Formoso tea plantations, with tasting.
Day 5: PONTA DELGADA / LISBON
Breakfast, check-out at the hotel and private transfer to the airport for boarding a flight to Lisbon (not included). Arrival and private transfer to the hotel for accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
In the evening, farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 6: LISBON
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private airport transfer.
