Package trip to explore the famous Mountain of the Angels, a beautiful Alpine village in Switzerland, to enjoy all year round!
DAY 1: Zurich or Lucerne - Engelberg
Presentation on your own at the Zürich or Lucerne train station. Take a train to Engelberg, which takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes from Zurich or 50 minutes from Lucerne.
Upon arrival in Engelberg, you will arrive at your own expense to the hotel, which is just 100 metres from the train station. Accommodation for 5 nights, with breakfast.
Kempinski Palace Engelberg, has a privileged location. It is a short distance from the swivel cable car that gives access to Mount Titlis, amidst the charming village with its small shops, cozy cafés and the world-famous Benedictine monastery of Engelberg.
DAY 2 to 5: ENGELBERG Free
days for activities depending on the season.
Suggested optional activities during winter (not included):
- Ascent to Mount Titlis, where you have a panoramic view of the Central Alps, access to different restaurants, an ice cave and the impressive Titlis Cliff Walk suspension bridge;
- Skiing and Snowboarding, with slopes for all levels;
- Take advantage of the Trubsee Snow Park;
- Snowshoeing on the Titlis slopes;
- Snowmobile ride;
- Sleigh descent below snow from Gerschnialp to Engelberg.
Suggestions for optional summer activities (not included):
- Hiking on the trail around Lake Trubsee and the Trubsee-Stand geological trail;
- Rowing boat ride on Lake Trubsee;
- Sport fishing on Lake Eugenisee;
- Mountain biking (some routes are only suitable for experienced mountain bikers);
- Climbing with a difficulty level of medium to difficult, starting at Berghaus Jochpass and ending at the summit of Graustock;
- Whey Bath: a whey bath, with beneficial effects on the skin, in front of the Gerschnialp cheese factory, on the slope of the Titlis.
DAY 6: ENGELBERG - Zurich or Lucerne
After breakfast and check-out, presentation on behalf of the Engelberg train station. Take a train bound for Zurich or Lucerne.
