DAY 1: JOHANNESBURG/MPUMALANGA - KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Arrival in Johannesburg and board a flight to Mpumalanga (flight not included).
Arrival and private transfer to the lodge. Accommodation for 2 nights, with full board.
The Mdluli Safari Lodge is situated within the famous Kruger National Park, offering spacious and comfortable tents that combine African charm with modernity. Overlooking the savannas and easy access to Kruger's main safaris, the lodge provides an authentic and welcoming experience, perfect for exploring South African wildlife in comfort and exclusivity.
DAY 2: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the lodge. Free day to carry out the activities offered by the lodge.
DAY 3: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK - MPUMALANGA/CAPE TOWN
At dawn, departure by vehicle (4×4) for safari. The open vehicle provides a complete wildlife experience, allowing you to observe the animals, hear them, and smell the African bush. The absence of windows and the vehicle's elevated position allow for excellent photographic opportunities during the safari. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Free time to relax or enjoy the lodge.
In the afternoon, departure for the second safari of the day. Return to the lodge for dinner.
DAY 4: CAPE TOWN
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for a private half-day tour, with a guide in Portuguese or Spanish, in Cape Town.
Cable car ride to Table Mountain, where it is possible to observe the city from above (subject to weather conditions). Then, visit the flea market, known as Green Market Square, where there are several souvenir merchants. Stop by The Company's Garden to observe its gardens surrounded by the Slave Lodge buildings, the Parliament, and St. Georges Cathedral.
Continue to the Castle of Good Hope, the oldest part of the city with its historic buildings and unique architecture, and the Bo Kaap Malay neighborhood, with its colorful houses and picturesque mosques.
DAY 5: CAPE TOWN
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for a private full-day tour, with a guide in Portuguese or Spanish, to the Cape of Good Hope.
Visit the Good Hope Nature Reserve, where the Cape of Good Hope is located, take the funicular up the old lighthouse to enjoy the view of False Bay. Then, visit Simon's Town to discover the penguin colony, a local species that is at serious risk of extinction.
Stop for lunch (without drinks) at a local restaurant.
Return to the hotel via Chapman's Peak (subject to weather conditions).
DAY 6: CAPE TOWN
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private airport transfer.
THIS ITINERARY INCLUDES:
- Accommodation for 2 nights in Kruger National Park, with full board;
- Accommodation for 4 nights in Cape Town, with breakfast;
- Private transfers between airport/lodge/airport, with driver in English, in Kruger National Park;
- Private transfers between airport/hotel/airport, with driver in Portuguese or Spanish, in Cape Town;
- Regular safari activities in 4x4 vehicles in animal reserves, with an English-speaking guide;
- Half-day private tour of Cape Town, with a guide in Portuguese or Spanish;
- Private full-day tour to the Cape of Good Hope, with a guide in Portuguese or Spanish;
- Ticket for the cable car to access Table Mountain (visit depends on the weather conditions on the day);
- A lunch (without drinks) at a local restaurant on the 5th day;
- Travel kit.
