Athens, Mykonos, Santorini, Heraklion, Chania
12-day itinerary to discover the cradle of modern civilization and its cultural and historical treasures.
DAY 1: ATHENS
Arrival in Athens, reception by the local representative and private transfer to the hotel.
Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 2: ATHENS
After breakfast at the hotel, a half-day panoramic city tour with a guide in Spanish.
Visit to the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held, the Parliament, the Temple of Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, the National Library and the Constitution Square (Syntagma).
Finally, go to the Acropolis to visit the Athens Nice Temple, the Erechtheion and the Parthenon.
At the end of the tour, return to the hotel and free afternoon for independent activities.
DAY 3: ATHENS - MYKONOS
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer to the port of Piraeus and board a fast boat bound for Mykonos.
Arrival and private transfer to the hotel for accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 4: MYKONOS
Breakfast at the hotel and free day for independent activities.
Optional activity suggestion (not included):
- Visit the beaches of Platis Gialos and Paradise Beach.
DAY 5: MYKONOS - SANTORINI
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, private transfer to the port of Mykonos for boarding a fast boat to Santorini. Arrival and private transfer to the hotel.
Accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 6: SANTORINI - OIA - SANTORINI
After breakfast at the hotel, departure to the port of Santorini and board a regular mini cruise to visit the Santorini “boiler”, passing close to the region's volcano.
Short stop and free time to visit the hot springs that blend with the mineral wealth coming from the volcano.
Finally, dinner on board (without drinks) and return to Oia Bay during sunset. Disembark and return to the hotel.
DAY 7: SANTORINI
Breakfast at the hotel and free day for independent activities.
DAY 8: SANTORINI - HERAKLION
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer to the port of Santorini for boarding a fast boat to Heraklion. Arrival and pick-up of the rental car at the port.
Drive to the hotel for 1 night's accommodation, with breakfast.
Heraklion is the capital of the island and region of Crete, located on the north coast of the island, on the edge of the Aegean Sea and well known for its archaeological sites.
DAY 9: HERAKLION - CHANIA
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Drive for about 2 and a half hours to Chania, a city with strong Venetian-style influences.
Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
One of the main cities in Crete, Chania is renowned for its natural beauty and its authentic historic center, which is remote from the Greek and Roman past..
DAY 10: CHANIA
Breakfast at the hotel and free day for independent activities.
Suggested optional activities (not included):
- Visit the city to see its colorful houses, churches, and historic mosques.
- Visit to the Venetian Port, considered one of the city's greatest landmarks.
- Visit to Elafonisi Beach.
DAY 11: CHANIA/ATHENS
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Drive about 20 minutes to the airport to return the rental car. Board a flight to Athens (flight not included).
