Day 1: Johannesburg
Arrival in Johannesburg and private transfer to the hotel for accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
Day 2: JOHANNESBURG/KRUGER
NATIONAL PARK REGION Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer to Johannesburg airport for boarding to Hoedspruit (flight not included). Arrival and private transfer to the lodge for accommodation for 2 nights, with full board (selected drinks).
In the afternoon, departure for safari, accompanied by a ranger in English. Return to the lodge for dinner.
Note: Lunch and participation in the afternoon safari will be subject to the time of arrival at the lodge.
Day 3: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK REGION
Early in the morning, after coffee or tea, go on safari in an open 4x4 car accompanied by a ranger, in English.
Return to the lodge, breakfast and free time to take advantage of the facilities. After lunch and afternoon tea, departure for a second safari. Return to the lodge for dinner.
Day 4: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK REGION - FRANSCHHOEK
Early in the morning, after coffee or tea, departure for safari in an open 4x4 car accompanied by a ranger in English.
Return to the lodge for breakfast and check out. Private transfer to Hoedspruit airport for boarding to Cape Town (flight not included). Arrival at the airport and private transfer, in Portuguese, to the city of Franschhoek for accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Day 5: FRANSCHHOEK
Breakfast at the hotel and private full-day tour, with a guide in Portuguese, to discover the cities of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, known for their charm and wineries.
Stellenbosch is the second oldest city in the Cape region, where “Pinotage” was created in 1925, a South African grape variety that crosses the Pinot Noir grape with the Cinsault grape, also known as Hermitage. Pinotage is the result of the union of two names: Pinot + Hermitage. During the tour, wine tasting and wine cellar tour.
Then, visit the city of Franschhoek, a French colony where the first “Huguenots” who migrated settled in the region.
Day 6: FRANSCHHOEK - CAPE TOWN
Breakfast, hotel check-out and private transfer to Cape Town. Accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
7th day: CAPE TOWN
Breakfast at the hotel and half-day tour, with a guide in Portuguese, to explore the city of Cape Town, with the opportunity to visit Table Mountain, one of the seven new wonders of the world, which has a spectacular view of the city and the bay.
Passage through the vibrant flea market, known as Greenmarket Square; The Company's Garden, located in the center of the city of Cape Town; the former “Slave Lodge”, the Parliament and the St. Georges Cathedral.
Then pass in front of the Castle of Good Hope ending with a stop in the Bo Kaap Malay neighborhood, with its colorful houses and picturesque mosques.
Note: Table Mountain in Cape Town will be closed for maintenance between 15/07/2024 and 02/09/2024.
Day 8: CAPE TOWN
Breakfast at the hotel and private tour, with a guide in Portuguese, along the Cape Peninsula, a spectacular route where you can see the landscape, vegetation and wildlife. Unique opportunity to take beautiful photographs and observe the two oceans, Atlantic and Indian.
Stop at Hout Bay and Timber Bay, with the option of taking a boat ride to an island inhabited by a Cape seal colony.
Continue to Chapman's Peak (subject to weather conditions) to visit the Good Hope Nature Reserve, where the Cape of Good Hope is located. Opportunity to take the cable car and climb to the old lighthouse to enjoy the view of the famous False Bay.
Then continue to Simon's Town, home of the South African Navy to visit a famous colony of African penguins, a species that is seriously endangered.
Day 9: CAPE TOWN
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private airport transfer.
