Discover the charms of the East Coast of the United States on this journey through the cities of Boston, Albany, and Washington D.C., including one of the natural wonders of the world, Niagara Falls.
Day 1: NEW YORK - CONNECTICUT - MASSACHUSETTS - BOSTON
Arrival in New York and departure north to the states of Connecticut and Massachusetts, in the New England region. Arrival in Boston and tour this historic city, visiting Faneuil Hall Market, Boston Common (public park in downtown Boston), and Harvard University.
In the afternoon, transfer to the hotel for accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
In the evening, dinner (excluding drinks) at a local restaurant.
Day 2: BOSTON - STOCKBRIDGE - ALBANY
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, whale watching boat ride from the Stellwagen Bank Marine Sanctuary, home to many species of large whales, such as humpback whales and minke whales.
In the afternoon, drive to the Berkshires, a rural mountain region of western Massachusetts, with a stop at picturesque Stockbridge, a perfect example of a small New England city.
Continue to Albany, the capital of the state of New York, for accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast. In the evening, dinner (excluding drinks) at a local restaurant.
Note: Departures in April and May will include a historic boat tour of Boston Harbor rather than a whale watching tour. In case of adverse weather conditions, the whale watching tour may be canceled.
Day 3: ALBANY -
NIAGARA FALLS Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Departure to Niagara Falls, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, with a stop for lunch (excluding drinks). After lunch, boat ride across the waterfall.
Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast and free afternoon for independent activities.
Remarks:
- The overnight stay will be in the Niagara Falls region of Canada and specific documentation will be required to enter the country.
- If weather conditions do not allow the boat trip, it will be replaced by a scenic visit to the tunnels behind the falls.
Day 4: NIAGARA FALLS - WASHINGTON D.C.
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Departure to Washington D.C. via Pennsylvania along the way. Weather permitting, stop at an Amish market. The Amish preserve the elements of European rural culture from the late 17th century.
Arrival in Washington D.C. in the late afternoon and accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Day 5: WASHINGTON D.C.
After breakfast at the hotel, a panoramic tour of the city's main monuments and sights, including the White House, the Washington Monument, the Arlington National Cemetery, and the United States Capitol.
Free afternoon for independent activities.
Suggested optional activities (not included):
- Visit to the Smithsonian Museums and the National Air and Space Museum.
Day 6: WASHINGTON D.C. - PHILADELPHIA - NEW YORK
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Journey north to Philadelphia, the cradle of American freedom. The most famous sights include the Liberty Bell and “Independence Hall”, where the Declaration of Independence was signed and the Constitution of the United States was written.
Arrival in New York in the late afternoon.
