Madrid and Andalusia

Madrid, Grenada, Ubeda, Seville

A 12-day itinerary exploring the best of Madrid and Andalusia. Check it out!

DAY 1: Madrid
Arrival in Madrid. Reception and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.

Madrid is the country's intellectual and political center. A hospitable and diverse city, with its avenues with shops of all kinds, an enviable gastronomic center, and a bustling cultural life.


DAY 2: Madrid
Breakfast at the hotel. Private half-day tour of Madrid visiting the elegant Plaza del Oriente, Plaza de España, Parque del Oeste, Principe Pio, Puente del Rey, Ermita Virgen del Puerto, ending at Puente de Segovia. Continue to Plaza Mayor, Plaza de la Villa, Puerta del Sol, Neptuno, Atocha, Puerta de Alcalá, Calle Alcalá, Retiro Park and the Plaza de Toros.

Free afternoon for independent activities.


DAY 3: MADRID - Salamanca - Madrid
After breakfast at the hotel, private transfer to the train station and board the bus to Salamanca.

Upon arrival, transfer to the historic center of Salamanca. Private visit to the city's main attractions, the Plaza Mayor, considered one of the most beautiful urban squares in Europe, Casa das Conchas, a Gothic-style building, and the New Cathedral of Salamanca, together with the Old Cathedral.

Then, tour the Calixto and Melibea garden and visit the Casa Lis Art Nouveau and Art Deco Museum.

Free time for lunch and shopping.

In the late afternoon, transfer to the Salamanca train station to board Madrid.

Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Free evening for independent activities.


DAY 4: MADriD - GRANADA
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer to the train station for boarding to Granada. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.

At 22:00pm, exclusive night tour of the Alhambra. One of Spain's most precious treasures, the Alhambra, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, is a complex with a different construction: it has no main façade, no center, no specific axis. Buildings, towers, palaces, courtyards and gardens follow one another in a natural way.


DAY 5: GRANADA
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Alhamba Gardens and the Señorio de Nevada Bodegas y Viñedos, including a wine tasting.

Free time in Granada, being able to walk and try some gastronomic delights.

In the late afternoon, walk through the Albaycin neighborhood and the center of Granada. Then, dinner, with a Flamenco show in the famous Cuevas de Granada.


DAY 6: GRANADA - HUELMA - Úbeda Y BAEZA
Breakfast and
check-out at the hotel. Journey to the Sierra Mágina Natural Park, where the Sea of Olives is located.

Visit to a family olive oil production with tasting in the city of Huelma.

Lunch at a local restaurant and drive to Úbeda and Baeza, declared World Cultural Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Visit to the Archaeological Museum of Úbeda, with pieces from the Iberian and Roman periods found in archaeological sites in the region.

Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast and dinner.


DAY 7: Ú BEDA Y BAEZA - Córdoba - SEVILLE
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Travel to Córdoba for a private half-day tour.

Córdoba is one of the most visited cities in Spain thanks to its historical and cultural legacy. The city owes its fame to its Mosque-Cathedral which, together with the historic center of Córdoba, is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most important monument in the entire Islamic West. Inside what was once one of the largest mosques in the Muslim world, stands a Christian Cathedral that attempts to overshadow the beauty of the Arab temple.

Continuation of the trip to Seville, the capital of Andalusia. Accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.


DAY 8: SEVILLE
After breakfast at the hotel, tour of the city. Visit to Plaza de Espana and Maria Luisa Park. Passage through the Archives of the Indies, the Giralda, the Cathedral, the Mudejár Palace of the Real Alcázar, the Santa Cruz neighborhood, the Triana Bridge and the Gualdalquivir River with the Torre del Oro, the Castle of São Jorge and the Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza.


DAY 9: SEVILLE - JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA - SEVILLE
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Jerez de la Fronteira, known for its wines, horses and flamenco, for a full-day tour.

Visit the Alcázar de Jerez, the oldest and most preserved building of Islamic origin, the Cathedral of San Salvador, the Plaza del Arenal, and the La Atalaya Museum, dedicated to historic clocks.

After free time for lunch, guided tour of the Tio Pepe winery, including wine tasting.

Return to Seville.


DAY 10: SEVILLE - MADRID
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Transfer to the train station for boarding to Madrid. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and accommodation for 2 nights.

Free afternoon for independent activities.


DAY 11: MADRID - TOLEDO - MADRID
After breakfast, travel to Toledo, one of the oldest cities in Europe, known as “The City of Three Cultures”, since Christians, Muslims and Jews live together there. Visit the Church of São Tomé, where the masterpiece of the famous Spanish painter of Greek origin El Greco is located: “El Enterro de Conde de Orgaz”. Continue to the Toledo Cathedral to discover the masterpieces that are in the Primate Cathedral of Spain. Stop to learn about the famous Damascene technique, an artistic process of manufacturing jewelry, swords and other articles embedded in precious metals (especially gold thread) in steel.

Return to Madrid and free afternoon for independent activities.


DAY 12: MADRID
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Transfer to the airport.
