Day 1: EDINBURGH
Arrival in Edinburgh, reception by the local representative and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, is renowned for its castles, arts festivals, and historic architecture. The city combines medieval and Georgian elements and is an important cultural and educational center.
Day 2: EDINBURGH
After breakfast at the hotel, walk through the old part of the city. Pass through the Royal Mile, the medieval street that connects Edinburgh Castle to the Palace of Holyroodhouse - the official residence of the Scottish royal family. Visit Edinburgh Castle, which towers imposingly on the Castle Hill hill, offering panoramic views of the city center.
Continuation of the tour through the new part of the city, with wide avenues, symmetrical squares and carefully planned gardens.
Free afternoon for independent activities.
Day 3: EDINBURGH - HIGHLANDS - PITLOCHRY - INVERNESS
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Departure north, towards the famous Highland region, the famous Highlands. Short stop at Forth Rail Bridge and Dunkeld, a charming village on the banks of the River Tay.
Arrival in the village of Pitlochry and visit the Blair Athol distillery, with the opportunity to taste the traditional Scottish drink - whiskey.
Continuation of the trip to Inverness passing through the Cairngorms National Park. Arrival and accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Day 4: INVERNESS - NAIRN - INVERNESS
Breakfast at the hotel and brief panoramic city tour.
Visit the historic Culloden Battlefield, one of Scotland's most iconic sites. It was there, in 1746, that Britain's last pitched battle took place, marking the decisive defeat of the Jacobites.
Next, stop at Clava Cairns, a mysterious set of prehistoric stones, also known to have been the filming location for the Outlander series, and Nairn, known for its beaches and tranquil atmosphere.
Return to the hotel in Inverness.
Optional activity suggestion (not included):
- Private cruise tour of the famous Loch Ness, home of the legendary monster Nessie.
Day 5: INVERNESS - GLENCOE - PERTHSHIRE
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, travel south on the famous A82 route, considered one of the most scenic roads in the world.
On the way to Perthshire, stop at Fort William, a charming village at the foot of Ben Nevis - the highest mountain in the United Kingdom, and passing through the Glencoe Valley, the scene of several film productions, such as Harry Potter, 007 Operation Skyfall, and others.
Arrival in Perthshire and accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Day 6: PERTHSHIRE
Breakfast and free day for independent activities and to enjoy the hotel facilities.
Day 7: PERTHSHIRE - EDINBURGH
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer to Edinburgh airport.
