Discover Switzerland on an itinerary through cities, lakes, and mountains, including Jungfraujoch, Mount Pilatus, and Matterhorn, with panoramic train trips.
DAY 1: ZURICH
Arrival in Zurich and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
Recognized as an experienced and dedicated financial center, the largest and richest metropolis in Switzerland is consolidating itself in the 21st century as one of the most fashionable destinations in Central Europe.
DAY 2: ZURICH - LUCERNE - INTERLAKEN
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Trip to Lucerne, a medieval city located on the shores of Lake of the Four Cantons.
Arrival and visit to the Chapel Bridge, built in wood in 1333, is a 200-meter-long pedestrian crossing.
Continue by train to Mount Pilatus, which is located at an altitude of 2,132 meters, offering panoramic views of Lake Lucerne and the Alps.
Finally, arrival in Interlaken and accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 3: INTERLAKEN
Breakfast at the hotel and free day for independent activities.
Optional activity suggestion (not included):
- Regular ride to Jungfraujoch Mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known as the top of Europe, it is where the highest train station in Europe is located, at 3,454 meters above sea level.
DAY 4: INTERLAKEN - BERN - GRUYÈRES - GENEVA
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Departure to Bern, the country's capital, bordering Lake Thun and a brief visit to its main tourist attractions.
Continue to Gruyères, a charming medieval city famous for Gruyère cheese, and visit a cheese factory where you can observe the production process.
Finally, arrival in Geneva and accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
DAY 5: GENEVA - MONTREUX - ZERMATT
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, a brief walk along Lake Geneva where it is possible to observe the Jet d'Eau Fountain, this fountain has a jet of water that, propelled at a speed of 200 km per second, reaches a height of 140 meters high.
Departure to Montreux, a charming city on the shores of Lake Geneva, and free time for independent activities before arriving in Tasch/Zermatt.
Accommodation for 1 night in Tasch or Zermatt, with breakfast.
DAY 6: ZERMATT - ZURICH
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. In the morning, tour the most famous village in the Swiss Alps, where cars are not allowed.
In the afternoon, take the train to Tasch and head towards Zurich via the impressive Nufenen Pass.
Arrival and accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
DAY 7: ZERMATT - GORNERGRAT - ZERMATT
After breakfast at the hotel, ride the cogwheel train to Gornergrat.
The Gornergrat viewpoint, located at 3,089 meters above sea level, offers one of the best views of the Matterhorn, the most famous mountain in the Alps, for its imposing pyramid shape and for being the logo of Toblerone chocolate.
After the visit to Gornergrat, return by train to Zermatt.
DAY 8: ZURICH
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Half-day tour of the city's main sights and the Hohenstrasse panoramic road. Opportunity to visit the city of Rapperswil, the city of roses.
Finally, a boat ride on Lake Zurich.
