Montevideo: Uruguayan capital on the banks of the Rio de la Plata. Colonia del Sacramento: historic city with stone streets and preserved fortifications. A perfect combination for exploring Uruguay!
DAY 1: MONTEVIDEO
Arrival in Montevideo and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
In the afternoon, half-day bike tour with a guide in Spanish to the main points of the city.
Cycling tour next to the Rio da Prata and its surroundings. Then, pass through the neighborhood of Pocitos with its numerous buildings that house the largest number of inhabitants of Montevideo and the neighborhoods of Malvin, Punta Gorda.
Finally, stop by Carrasco, which was originally a summer neighborhood that was transformed into one of the most luxurious residential neighborhoods in the region.
DAY 2: MONTEVIDEO
After breakfast at the hotel, a full-day tour, with a guide in Spanish, through the Montevideo markets.
Visit the Agricultural Market to appreciate the architectural beauty and the enormous variety of gastronomic offerings that the market offers.
Continue to the Porto Market, where you can learn more about the history that gave rise to the city, and the Artisans Market.
DAY 3: MONTEVIDEO - COLONIA DEL SACRAMENTO
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Travel of about 2 hours to Colonia del Sacramento. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
In the afternoon, private half-day tour, with a guide in Spanish, in Colonia de Sacramento, with the objective of learning about the history of the conquest and colonization of the Rio de la Plata, in addition to discovering the charms of the only city of Portuguese origin in the territory of the Eastern Band, today, the Eastern Republic of Uruguay.
Visit the unmistakable walls and defensive bastions, in addition to the Costaneira waterfront, the Real de São Carlos with its old Plaza de Toros, the São Benito Church and neighborhoods of the city.
Free time to walk through the city streets.
DAY 4: SACRAMENTO COLONY - CARMELO - COLONIA DEL SACRAMENTO
After breakfast at the hotel, and a trip of approximately 1 hour to Carmelo.
Private full-day tour to discover the Carmelo region.
Visit to Bodega Boutique El Legado, including lunch and wine tasting and wine tasting and lunch.
Then visit the Narbona Wine Lodge to enjoy the wines from the local winery.
Return to Colonia de Sacramento.
DAY 5: SACRAMENTO COLONY - MONTEVIDEO
After breakfast and check-out, private transfer to Montevideo airport.
